JYSK is an international chain of stores in more than 50 countries with Scandinavian roots that sells everything for the home. Distribution Centre (DC) Ecser is situated close to Budapest and shall provide a base for JYSK shop supply in the region. In addition to Hungary, this distribution centre will also deliver products to JYSK stores in Croatia, Slovenia, and Slovakia. It is the largest distribution centre of its kind in the country.

The plan includes a logistics areas of just over 153000 m2 and an office space of around 4400 m2. All this is located on a 25.6 hectare site.
The distribution centre itself is 800 metres wide, has gates to dock 189 trucks and the material handling system alone is 2.5 kilometres long.
The building plan consist of, among other things of: Inbound and outbound logistic areas for shipping and distribution; Transport areas for goods distribution; Fully automated High-Bay Warehouses for palletized storage with a height of 43 m; Internet trading including storage, sorting and distribution; Administration building; Gatehouse including hotel rooms, training and fitness rooms.
